Three Sixty

One of my goals for this year is to get fitter. I'm not getting any younger and I can already feel the short of breath when I get up the stairs. My friends would agree that we're not the same all-night hangout group we used to be anymore. We start yawning as early as 10PM! Haha.

So when Juk and Jaycee invited us for a free trial in 360 Fitness Club, I knew I had to come. 360 Fitness Club offers a variety of training programs but their main program is the Circuit Training.

Dummies.com describe Circuit training as...

"... a fast-paced class in which you do one exercise for 30 seconds to 5 minutes and then move on to another exercise. It’s like a game of musical chairs: Everyone begins at a station (that is, a place where an exercise is done), and when the instructor yells “Time!” everyone moves to the next free station. Some classes alternate an aerobic activity (like stepping or stationary cycling) with a muscle-strengthening activity (like using weight machines). Others focus exclusively on muscle toning or aerobic exercise."

We had our trial at their Makati branch. Juk and I attended Body Jam classes while Jaycee briefed Rye about the whole circuit.  After that, we're assisted by one of the coaches on the actual trial. I only completed 1/3 of the circuit but the 30 minute full body work out and the fitness levels seemed perfect for me. Juk and Jaycee also did a great job convincing me that this is perfect for beginners like me and that I'd get proper assistance from the friendly coaches. FYI, I have no interest in these stuff before. I never had a sport and the closest thing I have is the 10/20 game that I can only finish up to level 2, the knee-high level! Hahaha.

Later, Rye found out that they're having a discounted membership promo in their Timog branch for their anniversary and one of coaches is his former badminton team mate and school mate. So, we took it as a sign and signed up.



It's a one year membership so I need to stick with this! We had a fitness test yesterday and I am almost ashamed of my BMI, I wouldn't dare post it here.
