At Cafe Juanita

Finally able to visit Cafe Juanita last June 25 with Rye, Nic and Ia. I've been wanting to go to this place since like forever!

Cafe Juanita is a restaurant located at Kapitolyo, Pasig. They have a new branch just across the street and it was already open when we visited. Actually, that's the reason why we wanted to go although it's raining hard.We read from OAP that they're closing the original branch and we wanted to check it out before it closes.

Aside from food, Cafe Juanita is famous for their interesting interiors. Do you know the game Ravenhearsts by Big Fish? That is how it feels like inside the restaurant. Minus the creepy sounds, of course.

This is a screen shot of the game...

This is one of the walls of Cafe Juanita...

Cool, noh? And of course, we tried playing detectives and find hidden clues. :)

Can you find Santa Claus? Hehehe.

Did you find it? Tada! It was behind me. Hahaha.

Okay, aside from the interesting interiors, I've also read great raves about their food. Here's what we ordered: Yummy yummy Bagnet and Bicol Express!

Well, the Bicol Express was not what we expected. It is not that hot and it's more of like Recipe's Gising-Gising. But it was yummy. Ilocos Bagnet is still the best but their version is okay. :)

Cafe Juanita Dinner with Nic and Ia

It was raining hard that night and we got stuck in traffic so we stayed only for a few minutes and took only a few pictures. Eat, picture and run!

Here's the collection of the pictures. You can view each one of them in my Picasa. :)
